Reborn paused in his walking, eyes going hard at Skull’s defiant shouts. Hearing his admission in wanting to attempt it again, he turned, obsidian orbs coldly sizing the other male up.
It wasn’t exactly cowardly to not kill, but Reborn was pissed off. Skull had asked Reborn to teach him, and it only seemed like the stuntman was wasting the hitman’s time, when Reborn could’ve been doing something more productive than standing around and watching Skull complain about it.
“Tch, fine. But last chance.” Reborn drawled in answer, handing Skull a gun. “Try not to shoot anyone with it. Now, shoot another tree.” Reborn gestured to one far away from where the dead body was, deciding to be lenient in that case. He remembered how his first kill went. Not that Skull killed anyone, but the stuntman was a grown man watching a friend kill someone in front of his own eyes.
“Try to mimic what I did. I’ll correct you on anything wrong you do.”
He took the gun back, still feeling a bit nervous. It’s not hard, just act like you have some sense. Act like you aren’t standing beside a trained murderer. He spaced his legs apart, gun aimed at the ground as he got into position. He lifted the gun and held it out in front of himself, making sure to hold it the way Reborn had.
He aimed it at the tree Reborn had motioned to. He took a deep breath to relax and keep himself from tensing. It’s going to be fine. Just aim at the tree. Whoops almost forgot… He pulled the slide back hearing the satisfying click of a loaded bullet.
He didn’t close his eyes this time, aiming for the center of the tree and fired. He didn’t hit the center but he did graze the tree, sending showers of bark to the ground. “Hey yes! I hit it! Did you see that?! I’m getting better at this!” he grinned, feeling a little more confident and forgetting he still had the pistol in his hand waving it around in his excitement.
“Oh shit!” he aimed it at the ground. “S-sorry. Got a little carried away there! So how did I do?”
Reborn gritted his teeth in pure annoyance at the situation. Part of him was quite eager to teach Skull how to shoot, no matter how much of an idiot the purple-haired man was. However, he wasn’t amused now. Not at all. He didn’t give out lessons lightly, and he most certainly did not like to be rejected.
“That is ridiculous.” Reborn hissed, narrowing his eyes at the stuntman. “I do not kill innocent passerbies.” If they don’t get in my way, he added inwardly, but didn’t say it aloud, knowing the kind of reaction that would probably produce. He stalked over to the dead man, and kicked him onto his side, revealing the sniper rifle the ‘innocent bystander’ was clutching, rather tightly now that rigor mortis began to set in. He thought it a bit odd that it had happened so quickly, but brushed it off.
“See? An assassin.” Reborn called over to Skull in an icy tone. Strolling coolly back over to him, he decided briefly on whether to bother to try and talk Skull into killing someone.
“You’re a damn coward.” He uttered, and passed Skull by without a second glance, beginning to walk out of the area. He wasn’t about to waste his time with someone who wasn’t willing to learn.
He glanced at the dead body, making a face. He had to give that one to Reborn but still it was unnerving. He hadn’t hesitated for even a second. He called after Reborn, not going to let the other walk away. Oh no and not when he had so much to say.
“Wait so not wanting to kill or even hold something that can kill is being a coward?!” He glared at Reborn, even though it was a dangerous move.
“I’m just fucking nervous! It’s hard! I want to but…” He dropped his gaze to burn holes in the ground. “I’m not trying to waste your time! I just don’t think I can do it !”
He held his hand out. “I-I’ll try again.”

Skull yelped, completely taken off guard, too busy yelling at Ryohei. He rolled across the pavement, wincing. That had hurt. But it wasn’t too bad, although it would definitely become worse. He rolled to his hands and knees, standing up again. “Is that all you’ve got?”
YOU OKAY SKULL?!
Shizuo chuckled and looked over at the crumpled man who was struggling to get up “Not exactly, I’m kind of going easy on you because I’m tired and bored of beating up Ryohei’s students” he scoffed “But if you want more then I should just listen” He dropped the street light and walked over to the vending machine full of pop, he picked it up pulling out the screws that held it in the ground.
F-FINE! I’VE HAD WAY WORSE! JUST SURPRISED!
Skull tensed, awaiting the vending machine. How the hell am I going to ever get close if all this guy does is just throw shit? OH! Dumbass!
He concentrated allowing his armor muscle body ability to take over. “I’m ready for you! Bring it!” He ran at Shizuo, confident he could take the other.
I-I GOT THIS!
He threw up his arms as a strong gust of wind pushed him back, making him stumble a little but he caught himself. “I’m not going anywhere. I can’t die anyway. I have nothing to lose!” Not gonna run away. Probably would be smart to. I have to do this for once in my life.
DON’T JUST STAND THERE SKULL, ATTACK HIM!
“You’ve got guts kid, I admire it, but either way, you’re going to become incredibly injured” Shizuo held the street light in front of him like a sword and raised his other hand, making a taunting motion as to say “come at me bro” with a smirk on his face, once Skull ran towards him Shizuo knocked Skul to the side with a simple swing of the street light.

“Ryohei, stop getting his hopes up, you know he won’t be able to last” Shizuo sighed and swung the street light once, missing on purpose to send an air blast at Skull and push him back a bit “Are you sure you want to challenge me? There’s no guarantee that you’ll escape alive, Ryohei’s students either go into a coma or die all together”
